Flavour: A blend of Ugandan coffee with roasted and ground Chicory.
70% Coffee and 30% Chicory
This coffee derives from the traditional process, used to enhance the flavour of roasted acorns during the second world war. Branded in liquid form as ‘camp coffee’, some people enjoy this acquired taste.
This coffee cannot be supplied as 'Roasted Beans' as the Chicory is pre-ground. Please choose your grind from the option above.

I thought this would be a good alternative to a well respected brand of French Market Coffee and Chicory I was given as a present from a friend in the USA. Rather than paying an arm and a leg importing some more I thought I'd buy locally. Unfortunately it's not a patch on it and the after taste is very muddy when brewed in a Chemex. If you like bitter, earthy coffee you'll like this, but for me it's only palatable when made as a Cafe Au Lait (50/50 with hot milk).

It's increasingly hard to find coffee and chicory these days, never mind one as good as this. It's a smooth blend that keeps the chicory taste without it being overpowering.

The service was very good. I received my coffee in 2 days and the coffee is delicious and very strong. I ordered the costa rica and is so lovely and aromatic. The other one I ordered was chicory and coffee and is good too as an alternative for coffee not too strong.
